PRESERVATION - the ULTIMATE regeneration
A 1-day intensive course of lectures and hands-on exercises designed to improve the skills of dentists as it relates to understanding of the art and science behind Partial Extraction Therapies (PET) and their application to clinical implant and restorative dentistry. The course will focus on the treatment planning considerations, armamentarium, as well as a thorough step-by-step manual of the surgical techniques that are necessary for successful PresErvaTion of hard and soft tissue architecture following tooth extraction through Partial Extraction Therapies.
Delegates will learn and develop the skills and knowledge required to efficiently perform Partial Extraction Therapies including the socket shield technique, the pontic shield technique, the root submergence technique and the glocker technique. Delegates will also understand the importance of the prosthetic considerations beginning with immediate and delayed provisionalisation techniques, lab communication and final prosthetic design to ensure predictably aesthetic and biologically stable fixed implant and tooth restorations.
